LEICA M3 BODY CLASSIC RANGEFINDER

The superclassic M Leica made in Wetzlar, the M3, with the finder with frames 50/90/135mm.

Here a very early fully original specimen, number 734593, from 1955.

Precise rangefinder, film counter under loupe, ultrasilent shutter and release, extremely reliable, incomparable feeling and tactile fascination.

Fully correct early details, as:

No frame selector, triangular strap lugs, 5 screws in bajonet, ASA scale on back to 200, halfmoon shaped screw in accessory shoe, 1 red dot in rewind knob, old shutter speeds.

Offer includes original (otherwise empty) red box with CORRECT number.

As well as both synchro covers, german short instructions from 1954, body cap, spool.

And original early leather case with seed on top, in also fine condition.

Strap of case should be exchanged for full use, since it was broen and reglued at one spot.

Camera is checked and fully working fine; light marks of use on top (mostly from use of exposure meter M) and on back side, very light marks on bottom; very little elsewhere. Light dust behind viewfinder window.

Vulcanite complete and undamaged.
