A rare Leica IIIc grey from worldwar II, number 387707 (grey series for the Luftwaffe began with 387501), from 1941.
Included is a perfectly matching Summitar number 579814, equally from 1941.
Grey IIIc were all meant for delivery to german Army (Heer or Luftwaffe). The were usually not engraved with military markings at Leica, but when they arrived in Berlin or wherever, by the military section they were meant for.
Few "disappeared" before or on the way unengraved; those are called "civil grey IIIIc" as this one here.
Fine condition for a grey painted IIIc, same applies to lens.
Set is presently in the service-center for the promised servicing, and can be shipped from about 25th march on.
