ASTRO BERLIN IDENTOSKOP PORTRAIT 2,3/150 150MM F2,3 150 leica M39 LTM
Rarest reflex device with equally rarest lens, with Leica M39 thread mount.
FIRST reflex device 35mm slr ever, modular type, YEARS before the Sport (prototype 1934, market 1937) and the Kine-Exakta (1936).
In 1930/31 Astro Berlin started developping this reflex device, in order to be able to sell some of their lenses also for Leica camera photography purposes; 1932 it came then onto the market in smallest quantity, the Identoscope.
Absolutely historical milestone and first predecessor of the 35mm slr camera.
Beautiful lens in beautiful condition, and should be quite hard to find again, if you miss this one...
The pictured cables came with the lens, but we canot clearly identify their purpose or whether they really are for use with the lens; you will simply get them included.
Very impressive and surely one the of the very rarest non-Leica lenses with Leica M39 threadmount. Fine for a major Leica collection or any important collection of historical cameras/lenses.
