LEICA SUPER-ANGULON M39 LTM 4/21 21 21MM F4 FIRST BATCH

An anyway rare lens, the Super-Angulon 4/21mm in M39 mount. Only a maximum of 1462 pieces produced between 1958 and 1963.

Here an extremely early lens from first series, one of the first lenses produced.

Only 100 serial numbers were given in 1958, the numbers 1583 001 until 1583 100.

Here the lens number 1583 051.

Please also observe the unusual details, as the never seen different and small engraving of the serial number. This is not in any of the many Leica collector's literature known to us. As well as the unusual engraving "Lens made in Germany" on the lower ring, instead of the normal "Germany" on the ring with the focusing scale.
