LEITZ ORTHOPLAN MICROSCOPE LEICA BINOCULAR TRANSMITTED LIGHT

Older fully professional quality microscope by Leica, very well equipped.

NOT included is the long zoom part, that we mounted between head and base; it is NOT included in the offer and just pictured by mistake.

The microscope carries 2 eyesights Leitz G 8x.

It has five lenses included:

NPL 25/0.50 170/0.17
OEL 100/1.30 170/0.17
PL APO 6.3/0.20 170/- (small coating damage front lens, but probably fully usable; but this is NOT guaranteed)
PL FL 4/0.14 170/-
40/0.65 170/0.17

Also included is the illumination with transformator; probably it should be mounted on the bottom, but euqlly fits the upper bajonet.

Please observe: We do not have the knowledge and tecnical possibilities to fully check professional microscopes or overhaul them.

In the basic functions it SEEMS to be ok (up/down, illumination, and so on).
The distance setting between eyesights is working, but moves very HARD.

Please observe: This is a scientific precision instrument. The basic functions seem more or less ok. Nevertheless a perfect adjustment or alignment in the nanomillimeter range or similar also in the working parts can not be warranteed at this age.

We sell this beautiful set as PURE collector's item / for exhibition; so NO guarantee !!! and NO returns accepted !!!!!

In case you want to put it to use though, please observe: A possible servicing and fine-tuning, lubricating, completion, repair or similar is in the responsibilty of the buyer.
