The Zeiss Ikon Contarex system was at its time the absolute cream top of the german 35mm SLR production, not equalled in its technical refinement, workmanship and also: Its price.
It was not a coincidence that the name Contarex derived from the latin word "rex" (king). Its engineers had only one limit: Perfection.

The excellent wideangle Distagon 2,8/25mm in silver chrome, filter size B56. Minimum focusing distance is less than 17 cm ! Perfect manufacturing quality and optical performance, also under nowadays standards.

Lens is presently in the service-center for the promised servicing, and can be shipped from about 15th decembre on.
