The Zeiss Ikon Contarex system was at its time the absolute cream top of the german 35mm SLR production, not equalled in its technical refinement, workmanship and also: Its price.

It was not a coincidence that the name Contarex derived from the latin word "rex" (king). Its engineers had only one limit: Perfection.

The excellent superwideangle Biogon 4,5/21mm, filter size B56. Minimum focusing distance is 50 cm. Perfect manufacturing quality and optical performance, also under nowadays standards.

Lens can ONLY be used on cameras with MIRROR-UP !!!

Number 3255835, year of production 1960.

The lens is presently in the service-center for the promised service, and can be shipped from about 15th december on.
