Equally sensational as unique find, a large lot of Sola original lenses and front caps, cameras, spare parts...

Schatz & Söhne from the Black Forrest in Germany beeing one of two renowned watch manufacturers, which also produced a high-class miniature camera in small quantities, nowadays both very rare.

First shown as prototype on the Leipzig spring fair, the camera was produced for export from end of 1937 on, and for Germany from beginning of 1938.

Produced only in a very small quantity, the Sola is nowadays a highlight for any CLASSY miniature camera collection.

And it was from the Black Forrest area, that today this box with Sola lenses and caps and cameras and spare parts has reached us.

HERE at offer:

1 extremely early original NICKEL Sola type lens Schneider Kinoplan 3/2,5 cm with the number 299 177. This number dates to end of 1928/beginning of 1929 ! The Sola was not presented before 1937.

Also, this lens has a slightly smaller screw mount then the normal Sola lenses, and a bar at the screw mount. It might have been a very early stadium planning lens, or it might not.

So we can not tell you precisely how this lens fits into the system, but it WAS in the delivery of the Sola old stock items we received !!

Lens elements: Fully fine, no fungus/scratches/separation; only micro dust and light haze/inner films possible.
