Unknown prototype by Schneider Kreuznach in transparent milky special barrel.

The service center working with us has screwed out the black front block (what is only possible with tool help): It is completely unengraved.

We have send the lens also to Schneider. There they told us that they have not produced this lens, what is of course rubbish. Just that nowadays nobody is there, who has an idea what the developping department all did at that time...

Concluding after the constructional form, the lens should be a wideangle, and probably starts with aperture F5,6. Sine the shutter also starts at 5,6.

What ever this transparent milky special barrel was for, we have no idea. It is interesting, that at the back part obviously the barrel does not go all the way inside, since there is a FULLY transparent part in between (see picture). hether at that spot there are only transparent lens glass elements, or there is mnothing at this spot, we can not tell.

Cosmetically all like new.

The shutter is of no major importanxe here of course; but it is also like new and fully working fine.

Weight of the complete lens (without caps) is 270 grams.
