LEICA LEITZ FODIS BLACK NICKEL RANGEFINDER FODUA 1924

First version oft he Leica rangefinder, the FODIS (FODUA) in black nickel with

small focusing wheel 2,15cm. Produced from 1924 on. Meter scale.
Can be shoved into the normal accessory shoe type on any camera.
NOT usable, rangefinder is almost invisible !!!!
BUT: Very rare very early version with small engravings on wheel and DRP engraving on barrel, serial number 4110.
Version with this DRP engraving pictured in a 1926 Leica proce-list/catalogue.
Perfect match for a 4-digit Leica I or Ring-Compur.
