The Zeiss Ikon Contarex system was at its time the absolute cream top of the german 35mm SLR production, not equalled in its technical refinement, workmanship and also: Its price.

It was not a coincidence that the name Contarex derived from the latin word "rex" (king). Its engineers had only one limit: Perfection.

The 6th last lens produced !!, production ended with number 5326.335.

Lens is just serviced on our expense, so it is fully usable optically and technically. Nevertheless, following small faults to mention:

Front lens with many micro-coating damages needle-tip small.

Pink screen has scratches.

Fat massive metal lens shade, that also WOULD have served as filter adapter, has dents and a tear (but fully fine to use as lens shade).
