MINOLTA MD bellows Shift PC tilt prime massive

At its time a very interesting camera system, the Minolta MD system. The lenses combined top optical and mechanical performance and first-class workmanship of the lenses metal mounts. Minolta even delivered lenses and camera parts respectively cooperated in the camera construction with the german premium brand starting with L.

The bellows fits to all manually focused Minolta MD/MC system cameras as XD-5, XD-11, X-500, XM, SRT and so on. It does NOT fit Minolta Dynax/Maxxum or Sony Alpha bodies!!

By OPTIONAL adapters it can be used perfectly fine, of course also in manual mode only, on: Sony NEX and A7, MFT, Fuji X, Canon EOS and others.

HERE at offer the bellow III tilt/shift type, only produced for a very short time in a small quantity, before beeing substituted by the much more economic to produce bellows IV without these options.

Superb manufacturing quality meeting professional demands, precise movements and lockings. Really extraordinary mechanical workmanship. The shift option gives you correct proportions; the tilt option gives you the extra mm of depth-of-field, that are so PARTICULARLY scarce especially in macro / micro photography! An invaluable possibility to much improve the quality of your pictures. By turning the camera 90°, you can tilt/shift in all 4 dierections. You can mount an enourmous variety of macro lens heads, micro lenses, normal lenses end enlarging lenses of different focal lengths (all lenses optional, partly adapters needed). Depending on the lens used, you have a range from strong microphotography even to photography at infinity, also combinable with the tilt/shift option.

Included here is the focusing rail, that can also be mounted in a 90° angle below the bellows, in 3 different positions. Mounted like this, it offers a hot shoe for flash with synchro socket on the bottom.

Further accessories were optionally available, as a macro stand o a slide duplicating attachment.

With this bellows set as a working base, there will be practically NO problem in macro photography that you will not be capable to solve!
